The Manzanillo (ZLO) international airport is about 50
minutes by car from La Manzanilla. Airlines that service the ZLO
airport include Alaska, Continental, America West, Mexicana, United and Aeromar. From the
airport you need to catch a taxi, for about $55 USD, to La Manzanilla.
Thrifty and Hertz offer car rentals at the airport and reservations are
recommended.

The international airport in Puerto Vallarta is about four hours by bus
to Melaque. Buses from Puerto Vallarta to Melaque depart daily
at 7:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and cost approximately $15 USD for a one-way

station in Puerto Vallarta is called “Central Nueva” and is located by the
airport.

The international airport in Guadalajara is about five
and a half hours by bus to Melaque. Buses depart Guadalajara’s “Central Nueva”
bus station at
9:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m.,
7:40 p.m., and 11:00 p.m. daily to Melaque. The
cost for a one way ticket is somewhere around $20 USD. For info on buses

Once you have arrived to the
neighboring town of Melaque, you can then catch a local bus, right at the
Bus depot where you arrive, for about $1.00 USD or taxi
for about $12.00 USD to La Manzanilla.
